Fertilizer Advice after Soil Test

I recently received the results of my soil test and wanted to ensure that I was properly comprehending the fertiliser application rates.

The results indicated using 7-0-20 synthetic at a rate of 15 lbs per 1000 sq ft. I went with their recommendation of Yard Mastery's Stress Blend, which recommends applying 3lb per 1000 sq ft.

I also  read this bamboo fertilizer guide. Is it correct that I would need to apply 5 separate applications at 3lb per 1000sqft? If that's the case, how long should I wait between applications?
